Cute Electric Cars

One of the leading cute electric cars manufacturers is TH!NK GLOBAL, from Norway.

TH!NK GLOBAL was launched in the mid 1990s under the company named PIVCO (Personal Independent Vehicle Company).

The company was also formerly part of the Ford Motor Company, but the company was taken over by a group of Norwegian investors in March 2006.

Before the transformation, PIVCO launched, in 1995, an electric car named CityBee in Europe and as Citi in USA.

In 1996, 120 CityBees/Citi's were built, of which 1/3 were shipped to California to participate in the Bay Area Rapid Transit station car program.

Once the new generation of cars that have been getting new funding since 2007 are ready, they are estimated to go as fast as 65 mph but are estimated to go 130 only miles or so before needing 7 hours of battery recharge.

The company has a website located at thinkglobal.no.
