Electric Cars Race
NEDRA stands for National Electric Drag Racing Association, and organizes drag racing events nationwide, where the vehicles are fully electric powered. As an example of what they do, below is a video of a NEDRA Battery Beach Burnount event, at Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach Florida, event which was followed by an Autocross, ScooterCross and EV Show and Shine. The EVent was organized by NEDRA Southeast Regional and by the Florida Electric Auto Association. You can see more videos and event listings at www.nedra.com. There are also races that aim to promote electric car manufacturing and promote engineering and technology as careers, to those aged 9-21. One of these race organizers is Greenpower in the UK (www.greenpower.co.uk).
