Electric Hybrid Car Project

Electric hybrid car project work is done by students at such institutions as School of Engineering at Dartmouth.

Their work on hybrids is done as part of the formula hybrid racecar project, which begun in 2003.

That project is a student-run project aimed at designing and manufacturing a formula racecar using the torque of an electric motor to maximize racing performance.

In 2007, there were four teams designing the 2007 hybrid car for the project. They initiated the process in the ENGS 190/290 design sequence, details of which are available at
