Fastest Electric Car


Fastest electric car is either AC Propulsion Tzero or Wrightspeed X1, depending on how you classify these cars.

Wrightspeed's mission in electric car market is primarily to develop advanced electric drivesystem technology, with no compromises between performance and efficiency.

To this end, they have produced a racing vehicle prototype, called the Wrightspeed X1, which they promote as faster than anything available (including electric cars) except the Bugatti Veyron.

AC Propulsion Tzero

The Tzero is powered by Lithium Ion batteries and can go from 0 to 60 MPH in 3.6 seconds, a full 0.3 seconds faster than the Tesla Roadster electric sports car, for example, which uses in part technology from AC Propulsion.

The engine car produce 215 HP with 13,300 RPM and a top speed of 102 MPH.
