Hybrid Car Emission Statistics

Hybrid car emission statistics are available from three main resources.

For the first, there are the Green Ratings on Yahoo! Autos.

This is great, unique rating system for car emission statistics, and scores hybrid car makes and models according to their overall pollution, including their global warming pollution.

At Yahoo Autos, the Green Ratings are paired with price information and other specs. The site is located at autos.yahoo.com/green_center/.

Most often published emissions statistic is the fuel economy of a particular vehicle.

Indeed, fuel economy is the most important criterion to determine how much emissions are emitted from a particular vehicle.

To find these statistics, the Fueleconomy.gov website from EPA is the United States government's official site for such information.

Finally, Greenercars.com lists statistics for many late model green cars from the research group American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).

The Green Scores are very much similar to the Yahoo! Green Ratings.
