Hybrid Motorcycle Car
Hybrid motorcycle car is a recent three-wheeled concept car that qualifies as a motorcycle. The 'cars' are made by a company called VentureOne, which has developed the chassis from a European three-wheeler car model called Carver. This car is really a part-motorcycle, part car, and if you choose, you can get the car all electric or as a hybrid. The really astonishing thing about the car is that it gets an estimated 100 mpg equivalent on the road and costs somewhere in the range of $18,000-$23,000. Carver pioneered another magic feature, tilting of the chassis on corners. This feature makes the car very stable while rounding bends. To get an idea what the car is all about and how the tilting works on corners, see this feature article on VentureOne. To see what the original design from Carver is all about, see their official website at carver-worldwide.com. They have one available vehicle, the Carver One. Carver Europe BV, with head office in Dordrecht, near Rotterdam (NL), is the co-ordinating body for worldwide production, sales and service of the Carver One. The engineering facilities are located in Dordrecht (NL).
