Prices Electric Cars

Prices electric cars are available for only a few of the available or upcoming EV brands.

Many of the upcoming 'cars' are in fact three-wheelers, and are officially classified as motorcycles. Because of their classification, they have easier time to meet safety standards, and thus can enter production faster.

One of the these upcoming electric cars is from Miles Automotive, a Southern California company, with their Javlon electric car.

The Javlon, will have a range of about 120 miles before it needs a charge and will have a top speed of 80 miles an hour

The cost for the Javlon will be approximately $32,000, and its lithium ion battery will last more than 100,000 miles before it needs to be replaced.

Another upcoming electric car is the Tesla Roadster, a world's first mass production electric car aimed at the sports car market.

The car will have acceleration of under 4 seconds from 0 to 60 miles per hour and have a range of about 220 miles with one battery charge.

The price for the Roadster has been estimated at about $98,000.

Finally, ZAP electric car company has plans to release a car named Alias, that will have a top speed of over 100 miles an hour and go 150 miles on a charge, according to the pre-production figures from the company.

The price for that car will be around $30,000.

The Alias will also likely come with a hybrid range extender, a small gas motor that can power the car or charge the battery.
