Three Wheel Electric Car
Aptera This three wheel design has been around since the early 2000s, when Aptera's founder Steve Fambro started on a design for a electric vehicle that was safe, comfortable, and more fuel-efficient than anything ever produced. The current three wheel design is the result of study of aerodynamics, and composite aircraft construction, producing low-drag, aerodynamic body shape without sacrificing comfort, drivability or safety. The car is a two-seat, three-wheeled vehicle, with the first operating prototype achieving a 230 miles per gallon mileage. The first to go to production is the Aptera Typ-1. ZAP
The three wheeled ZAP Xebra Sedan is the has been under development for more than three decades, and produces 98% fewer pollutants than gas cars, after taking into account what type of electricity is needed to power the car. Xebras get their charge from a standard 110 volt outlet, but you may also opt for the car version with a solar panel, which can power short-distance trips all on its own.
