Toyota Prius Hybrid Electric Car

Toyota Prius hybrid electric car is the best in terms of fuel economy of the hybrid cars sold in U.S. based on the 2007 numbers.

Based on their 2007 figures (from fueleconomy.gov):

MPG (city) 60
MPG (hwy) 51
MPG (comb) 55

The car version for the 2008 is certified with an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV) rating, because it emits nearly 70% fewer smog-forming emissions than the average new vehicle.

The 2008 model comes with features such as Push Button Start, available cruise control, keyless entry, power door locks and windows, and a liquid crystal multi-information display.
